Department of Physical Medicine (Dr. Kazi Abdullah Al Mamun) is needed for comprehensive management of most of the musculoskeletal diseases, sports injuries and work related injuries. This department offers training to the medical students of 4th and 5th year MBBs course. The main objective of the department is to gather the knowledge of principles of management in Physical Medicine and when to refer the patients to Physical Medicine Department. In this department MBBS students will be able to * Outline the role of importance of Physical Medicine. * Identify the various modalities of Physical Medicine. * Plan to apply Physical therapy to certain clinical condition. Physical Medicine department offers clinical bed side teaching for two weeks in 4th year and 5 hours lectures for 5th year students.
